Butler has adopted the Topgrading philosophy in an effort to position the company for future growth. Topgrading will help Butler gain talent advantage over its competitors. It is the enabler of corporate initiatives and will improve the company's short and long-term performance.
To Topgrade is to fill every position in the organization with an "A" player by proactively finding, hiring and/or promoting the most talented people available at all levels. Topgrading will entail coaching and developing "Non-A's" to become "A" players. Topgrading is expected to ultimately increase employee satisfaction through the use of individual development plans (IDPs) and ongoing coaching.
