Butler's Staging and Feet-on-the-Street Services

Butler's Staging and Feet on the Street Service is a turnkey solution that combines equipment staging and installation to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and accuracy on network hardware deployments.

The different phases of staging and Feet on the Street are:

  • Equipment determination
  • Pre-configuration
  • Documentation
  • Testing
  • Delivering

The customer acquires and ships the equipment to one of Butler's staging facilities.

Equipment Determination: Once received, the equipment is cataloged, verified against purchase orders or shipping invoices, documented for parts and serial numbers and setup in a staging area.

Pre-configuration: Hardware/software is installed (if required), booted, tested and burned-in for 24-48 hours.

Documentation: The equipment has software/hardware loads documented, is shut down, re-packaged in its original packaging with instructions, and then labeled for shipment to the client site.

Delivering: The items are then shipped to the customer site, based on an implementation schedule/project plan arrived at, with the customer.

Testing: Our skilled resources manage Feet on the Street to perform the physical installations, to test and verify the equipment and ensure proper connectivity is established, before releasing the equipment to the customer.
